Debian Lenny Problems

I have tried installing Debian Lenny on my dinosaur – I got a base system working, and edited the grub menu file, /boot/grub/menu.lst, to make Windows the first boot option.  I only get the command-line, no gui, but I can at least work on the command-line, and shutdown -r now will allow me to get back into Windows.

The problem is part way through installing software packages.  I don’t know if it’s a problem with the selected mirror(s).  I have tried a couple of times, with different mirrors, and get the same thing.

I will still be slogging on.
